Lori Paige was 12 years old when she disappeared from Tallahassee, Florida, in June 2023. For nearly two years, her family and investigators searched for answers. Then, in April 2025, her remains were discovered at Merrily Plantation in Thomas County, Georgia, changing the case from a missing-child investigation into a homicide investigation.
This documentary follows the investigation into Lori Paige’s disappearance, from the first police response and neighborhood searches to the evidence that eventually drew investigators’ attention to her father, Andrew Wiley. Investigators examined phone records, travel activity, digital evidence, blood evidence, and other details surrounding the days before Lori vanished. Court records later revealed that Wiley had purchased a one-way ticket to Puerto Rico shortly before Lori was reported missing.
Wiley was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection with Lori’s death. However, he died in custody in June 2025 before the case could go to trial. Prosecutors later discussed evidence they believed pointed to sexual abuse as a possible motive, but because Wiley died before trial, those allegations were never tested before a jury.
