On April 11th, 2007, Alexis Somers gets an unexpected call from her father, Dr. Martin McNeill, 500 miles away in Pleasant Grove Utah: her mom, Michele, is dead. Martin claims her death was an accident–a complication from a surgery she had just days earlier, but when Alexis arrives back home she realizes something is terribly wrong.
