A minor took the stand in Robert Kessler’s murder trial and detailed her relationship with the accused killer. The girl, who testified anonymously, referred to Kessler as her “dad,” though he was not her biological father.
She testified that Stephanie Crone-Overholts and Kessler entered the home one night and noted that she never saw Crone-Overholts again. She also claimed that Kessler removed all the bedding from Crone-Overholts’ room and that Kessler told her he had to “turn himself in” the last time they saw each other.
