Virginia Giuffre, who accused Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein of sexual abuse, has died by suicide aged 41, her family has said.
Ms Giuffre was one of the most outspoken accusers of convicted sex offenders Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, his former girlfriend. She alleged they trafficked her to the Duke of York when she was 17, which Prince Andrew has strenuously denied.
News that Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre passed away hit social media over the weekend. Her family confirmed the 41-year-old died weeks after she posted a cryptic post on social media that she was in a bus crash and only had days to live.
Since then, details of her personal life, a restraining order, and circumstances surrounding her death spiraled across the internet. Her family just released a handwritten note she wrote in her journal before her shocking death. Law&Crime’s Chris Stewart has this brand new update on this episode of On the Case.
