Surveillance video from the home of 17-year-old Sophie R. was played in court at the start of the trial against her then boyfriend, Copper Ouellette. He is accused of her death in May 2023. The video shows Copper driving up to Sophie’s house and then allegedly telling her mom that something was wrong with her daughter. Her mom described her as being “limp and lifeless” before they took her to the hospital.
